Philip B. Gabriel | Visit Guest Book Philip B. Gabriel of Windsor Philip B. Gabriel, 92 of Windsor, NY and formerly of Summerfield, FL. Went to be in the arms of the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from the NYS Vets Home, Oxford, NY. Philip was pre-deceased by his parents Philip and Lena Gabriel, a brother Richard Gabriel, a sister Ina Lord, his loving wife of 70 years Dorothy Gabriel and best friend Smokey II. He is survived by a son Philip and daughter Janet of Rochester, NY, 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. Philip was a WW II Veteran, a life long Trucker who owned his own trucking Co. In his later years he traveled and enjoyed many NASCAR races along with his wife Dorothy. He will be dearly missed. He was truly an inspiration to all who knew him. He was blessed to have to have many dear friends in his life. Philip's family would like to extend their appreciation for the care given him in the Spruce Neighborhood at the NYS Vets Home, Oxford, NY. It was Philip's request that services for him be private and at the convenience of his family.
