Obituary of Levert Harper

Levert Harper Apalachin: Levert Harper (Lev), 88, of Apalachin, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 15th, 2013. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years, Arlyne; his parents, Henrey and Ethel; and his brother, George. Surviving are his son, Wayne (Gail) Harper; daughter, Sharon Harper; two grandchildren, Timothy (Tracia) Harper and Stacy (David) Myers; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephew. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Lev was a member of South Apalachin Baptist Church and a member of the retired men's group. He retired from IBM and loved to fish and help others on mission trips with the retired men's group. Services for Levert will be held at the South Apalachin Baptist Church, 4116 Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin, NY 13732 on October 18th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9 to 11 before the service. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Apalachin. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the S.A.B.C. mission fund.
