Obituary of Nancy L Morgan

Nancy (Greaves) Morgan Nancy (Greaves) Morgan, age 59, of Endicott, NY, passed away October 30, 2013. In recent years, she discovered new passions in her life. Cooking from scratch went from a necessity to a great pleasure. She enjoyed sharing her healthy concoctions with others, especially her peanut butter cookies. Watching birds from her window blossomed into her becoming an avid birder, followed by her love of photography. Her beautiful pictures of nature, most of which were of birds, had gained certain recognition. For three years she was editor of "The Gnatcatcher", the newsletter of the Naturalists' Club of Broome County. She then became a Foster Grandparent as a volunteer with the Johnson City school district. The children brought her much joy and fulfillment and she loved being with them. Her parents, Robert and Burdell Greaves; sister, Susan Seraydarian; and a son, Jeremiah Brown predeceased her. She is survived by a daughter and son-in law, Jennifer and John Madison; a son and daughter-in law, Curtis Bohner and Kari Giordano; four grandchildren, Kyle Madison, Sierra Madison, Benjamin Giordano and Jonathan Giordano; two brothers, Robert Greaves and David Greaves; three sisters, Barbara Konney, Karen Castelli and Virginia Latz. Virginia lovingly provided care & support during the course of her illness. Services for Nancy will be Tuesday November 5 at 1:00 PM at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Friends can come to call from 12 to 1 before the service. The Rev. John R. Martinichio will officiate. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, a tax deductible memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org/donate or to the Amyloidosis Foundation at amyloidosis.org/support
