Obituary of Thelma I. Boyer

Thelma "Irene" Boyer, age 94, of Endicott, died Saturday December 28, 2013 at Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Charles. Thelma is survived by three children, Roger (Dorothy), Endicott and their three children, Judy Ely (David), North Carolina and their six children, Becky Boyer (Votapka), Vestal and her three children; also many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. She retired from Union-Endicott Schools Cafeteria. She was a member of Union Center Methodist Church and a life member of West Corners Firemen's Auxiliary where she was known as Mrs. B the Cupcake Lady at their annual Ice Cream Social. Thelma was a member of the Broome County Firemen's Auxiliary and NYS Central Firemen's Ladies Auxiliary. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10AM from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Brown Naik, pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 4-7PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the NYS Firemen's Home on the Hudson, 125 Harry-Howard Ave. Hudson, NY 12534
