Obituary of Edith Truax

Edith Gladys Bost Truax Edith Gladys Bost Truax went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 29, 2013. She is predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bost; her sister, Beatrice; her brother, Clayton; her husband, Clayton P. Truax and her great granddaughter, Sandra Marie Lockwood. She is survived by her two daughters, Shirley and Ralph Lockwood, Charlotte, NC, Elaine and Thomas Tallman, Endicott, NY; five grandchildren, Carol and Bob Harvey, Scott and Kathy Lockwood, Charlotte, NC, Lori-Marie and Michael Sprague, Vestal, NY, Marianne and Jeremiah Allen, Apalachin, NY and Angela Tallman, Endicott, NY. Eleven great grandchildren, Tom, Jordan, Caitlin, Stephanie, Kristen, Ashleigh, Abby, Tyler, Madison, Magavin, and Padraig; two great great grandchildren, Lacey and Cannan; nieces and nephews, Leland, Brian, Gary, Donny, Donna, Clayton, Cindy, Keith, and her special grand nephew Ryan; Woodruff family, Hall family. Grandma would also like us to express her love and gratitude to Lori-Marie for being such a great advocate. We would like to express our thanks to the staff at Ideal, especially Daisy Court for their extraordinary care of Miss Edie. She loved her students at the Decker School of Nursing. She will be remembered for her love, kindness, compassion, and her prayers for everyone. She will be missed dearly. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd at 10:00AM, at St. Ambrose Church, Washington Avenue, Endicott, NY. Calling hours will be held from 9AM to 10AM before the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either St. Ambrose Church or Special Olympics.
