Obituary of Robert A. Maney

Robert A. Maney, 68, of Endicott, died unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident on Wednesday January 15, 2014. He was predeceased by his parents, Rose and Francis Maney, and his brother Francis Maney. He is survived by his daughters, Christine Maney Macarelli and her husband James, Sara Maney Sebastianelli and her husband Dave; their mother Palmette Maney; grandchildren, Natalee, Anthony, Andre and Eli; his longtime companion and best friend, Tina Slicklen and her son Ben Slicklen; one sister and brother-in-law, Jacqueline and John Kernan; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was full of life and a force to reckon with. He had a passion for Collectable Cars and living on the edge. Bob was always affable and had many friends but most of all he was a proud father and grandfather who loved his family deeply.A funeral service will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St. Endicott on Saturday at 1 p.m. Rev. Fr. James P. Serowik, Pastor of St. Anthony's Church will officiate. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday (today) from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 12 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Bob may be made to a charity of one's choice.
