Obituary of Lisa Cody

Lisa M. Cody Lisa M. Cody, 48, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Thursday, January 23, 2014. She was predeceased by her step father Dennis Eckenrode. She is survived by her loving daughter, Tarynne Briggs (13 years old), who was the sunshine of her life and meant everything in the world to her; her mother, Barbara Eckenrode; her father, Daniel (Ann) Cody, Atlanta, GA; her sisters, Danielle (Robert) Detten, Bolingbrook, IL, Jennifer (Anthony) Churey, Spencer, NY; and brothers, Marty (Kristine), Williamsville, NY, Thomas (Suzanne) Eckenrode, Endicott, NY; many nieces, nephews and extended family. Lisa graduated from Union Endicott and Elmira Business Institute with a certificate in medical transcription. She was a member of St. Ambrose Church. Lisa loved spending time with her daughter and watching her dance lessons. Lisa enjoyed being around horses and loved her cats and dog. She enjoyed the country and wildflowers. Lisa had a bubbly and gentle personality. She always had a smile on her face and a positive comment to give. Funeral services will be held at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St. Endicott, Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lisa's name may be made to the Tarynne Briggs Living Fund at Visions Federal Credit Union, 24 McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
