Obituary of Ronald W. Avery

Vestal: Ronald Wade Avery, Sr., 65, went to be with Heavenly Hunting Grounds to join his mom, Marguerite, and brother, Rusty, on January 25, 2014 after a short battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his father, Mark Clyde Avery, Sr.; his loving brother, Mark Avery, Jr. (Michele); Ron's very close and loving friend, Lisa Avery; his five children, Ronald Wade Avery, Jr., Teresa Kundrata (Wayne, his bud), Melissa Allman, Jason Avery (Betty Jo), and Andrea Yardman (John); along with 16 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three special extended grandchildren. Ron had a special lifelong best friend, Paul Tita, whom he loved very much. Special thanks to the team at Lourdes Hospital for the care that was given to Ron and thank you to Hospice for all the love and support in his final hours. To all his friends and family in New York and North Carolina, thank you for all your love and prayers. We love you, Dad. Funeral and Interment Services will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Robert McGehee, pastor of the West Endicott Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverhurst Cemetery, Endwell, at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 p.m. until service time at 5.
