Obituary of Catherine Phelps

Catherine Phelps Catherine Phelps, 90, of 708 Delano Avenue, Vestal died after a short illness on March 19, 2014. She was born in Endicott to Jacob and Ida Felter on August 23, 1923. She is predeceased by her husband, Francis (Joe) Phelps and her son John, and her brothers Donald and Richard. Catherine leaves behind her sister Marie Lusht. She leaves behind her son Michael and her daughter Dianne. Catherine was grandmother to four grandchildren: Robert, Russell, Michael and Nancy. Catherine had eight great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jonathan, Brittany, Elaina, Persephone, Phoenix, Aaron and Zephyr. Catherine also leaves behind two great-great grandchildren: Niccais and Dakota. She also leaves behind a daughter-in-law Cathy, grandson-in-law Jonathan, granddaughters-in-law Karen and Dana and numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine's hobbies included doll collecting and doll making, gardening, reading, and caring for her cats. A private service was held with family and friends with burial at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
