Obituary of Vada Anne Bennett

Vada Anne (O'Grady) Bennett Vada Anne (O'Grady) Bennett, 71, of Endicott, formerly of Ithaca, NY, went to be with the Lord on Thursday March 20, 2014. She was predeceased by her mother Barbara O'Grady and her sister Barbara Brecht. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald E. Bennett; sister, Donna Howard (Charles), Ithaca, NY; two wonderful stepchildren she dearly loved, Jeffrey Bennett and Kelly Brownell (Bennett); seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Vada was a very talented seamstress making most of her own clothes. She also made quilts. She enjoyed her pet pugs, Daisy and Mandy. Vada was with the Foster Grandparent Program mentoring children for over 10 years and enjoyed what she did. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
