She was predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph; her sister, Lois Wood; and her brother, Kenneth Midgley. She is survived by her sister, Joyce Mitchell and brother-in-law, Dick Mitchell, Endicott; and by her sons, Robert, Vestal, and daughter-in-law, Cynthia, Endicott, Roger and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Zwart, Baltimore, Richard and daughter-in-law, Michelle, Vestal; and by her daughter, Kathleen, Voorheesville. After raising a family, she went back to Cortland and obtained her permanent teaching certification. Thereafter she taught 4th grade for many years. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping and hiking with her husband and family at Raquette Lake in the Adirondacks for many years. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. The family is most grateful to the Homesteads, Apalachin, for the wonderful, loving care they provided to Margaret during the last several years of her life.
