Obituary of Shirley Pitcher

Shirley A. Pitcher, 82, of Newark Valley, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007, at the Vestal Nursing Center. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Pitcher,Vestal; her six children, Terry (Cheryl) Pitcher, Mercer, Maine; Pat (Don) Lantz, Maine, N.Y., Keith (Karen) Pitcher, Groton, NY; Sandi Pitcher, Clarksville, Texas, Tracy Pitcher, Endicott; Tammy (Steve) Hanakovic, Vestal; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; her two loving sisters, Arlie McCance and Bernetta French, both of North Ft. Meyers, Florida; also several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Shirley's request, funeral and interment services will be private. Those wishing may make contributions in Shirley's memory to the Lourdes Hospital Foundation Hospice Unit, 169 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, NY 13905.
