Obituary of Gerald R Brooks

Gerald R. Brooks Of Willet, NY Gerald R. Brooks, 65 of Willet, died Tuesday evening, April 3, 2007, at the Cortland Memorial Hospital, Cortland, NY. He was predeceased b his parents, George and Josephine Brooks. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Colley) Brooks; six children and spouses, Virginia and Bill Rohrer, Matthew and Trudy Brooks, Laurie and Scott Fyfe, Carol and David Mau, Sandra Brooks, Gerri Ann and Doug Frasch; 13 grandchildren and five step grandchildren whose lives he touched. He was a member of the Willet Volunteer Fire Department and a retired employee of Paul Trinity Corporation of Cortland. He was a veteran of the US Army and was an avid fisherman, hunter and enjoyed boating. Funeral and interment services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Paul Griffith, Pastor of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ of Endicott, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00.
