Obituary of Beatrice Tozer

Beatrice E. Tozer Of Endicott Beatrices first husband, Charles J. Hamm, welcomed Beatrice, age 85, to Heaven on April 16, 2007 at the Vestal Nursing Center. She is survived by her husband Richard I. Tozer, Endicott; her daughter, Effie Mae Buckley, San Jose, California; her stepchildren, Dixie Wagner, Vestal, NY, William Tozer, Conklin, NY, Robert Tozer, Albany, NY,and Terrance Tozer, Corning, NY; three grandchildren, Charles Colin Buckley, Boise, Idaho, Tara Lynn Castleberry, Branden, Fla., Keith Frederick Buckley, San Jose, Calif.; four step grandchildren; Kim Tozer, Endicott, NY, William Tozer, Jr., Vestal, NY and Louis and Ethan Tozer, Corning, NY. She also leaves six great-grandchildren and nine step great-grandchildren. Bea spent her life in Endicott. She was a graduate of Union-Endicott High School and helped plan numerous class reunions. As a longtime member of St. Ambrose Church, Bea was active in the Altar and Rosary Society for many years. Beatrice was the secretary at Seton Catholic High School in Endicott, NY where she became 2nd mom to many students. Always there for others with encouraging words and an ever listening ear. Bea will be sorely missed. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2007, at 1:00 P.M. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc. 300 East Main St., Endicott, and at 1:30 P.M. at St. Ambrose Church, where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 P.M.
