Obituary of Mary Rubrecht

Joan Rubrecht Of Apalachin Joan Rubrecht, 72, of Apalachin, died Tuesday, April 17, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. She is survived by her husband, Richard Rubrecht, Apalachin; her mother, Dorothy Dyer, West Warwick, RI; sons and daughters-in-law, James and Bernadette Rubrecht, Nichols, NY; Craig and Tracy Rubrecht, Huntersville, NC; grandchildren, Paul Rubrecht, Savanna Bennett, Ciera Bennett, Roman Rubrecht, Hope Rubrecht; brother, George Dyer, Punta Gorda, Fla; sisters, Barbara Healey, and Nancy McKenna, Narragensett, RI; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, Endicott, and was a Eucharist minister and member of the Altar Guild. She was a past-president of the Broome County Republican Womens Club and was a graduate of Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing. She was a nurse with the US Air Force and attained the rank of Captain. The funeral service will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday, at the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 312-314 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Michele Fischer, Pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Allentown, Pa. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Sunday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions to the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church Memorial fund, 312-314 E.
