Obituary of Ruth O. Kinner

Ruth O. Kinner Of Vestal Center Ruth O. Kinner, 86, of Vestal Center, joined her Heavenly family Saturday evening, April 21, 2007, at the Vestal Nursing Center, Vestal. She was predeceased by her parents and eight siblings. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harry Kinner, Vestal; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Paul Smetana, Endwell; son and daughter-in-law, Frank A. and Karen Kinner, Vestal; daughter and son in-law, Bonnie and Tony Piotrowski, Franklin Square, NY; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Ruth was a member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church and involved with the activities of the U.M.W. She was a member of the Broome County Home Bureau and was know for her love and generosity. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. The funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, West Hill Rd., Vestal Center. The Rev. Roger Frederick, Pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 3:00 p.m., Tuesday at the church.
