Obituary of David Swider

David B. Swider Of Endwell David B. Swider, 51, of Endwell, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Virginia Swider. He is survived by his daughter, Amy Swider, Endwell. David was an IBM employee and a veteran of the U.S. Army (Military Police). He was a classic car enthusiast, and a coin and stamp collector. He was a graduate of SUNY Oswego and was quietly generous to many charitable organizations. David loved to travel and was an avid book reader. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007, at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. The Rev. John Putano, Pastor of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, will officiate. Interment will be at the familys convenience. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing may make contributions in Davids memory to the Oswego Alumni Association.
