Obituary of Greata Karlson

Greata Marie Karlson Of Endicott Greata Marie Karlson passed away peacefully Friday, June 29, 2007, at Wilson Memorial Regional Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was predecesased by the love of her life, Bert J. Karlson, in 1983 after 40 years of marriage. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Val Frigo; one son and daughter-in-law, Bert and Marilyn Karlson; the proud and loving grandmother of Jon Frigo, Connie Frigo and Michael Karlson; and great-grandson, Kole Frigo; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Martha Schumacher; sister-in-law, Ema Karlsson; nephew, Jan and Britt Karlsson, their son, Daniel, Nyborg, Sweden. Greata enjoyed a challenging and successful career in radio and television sales. Her wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh will always be remembered. She resided at Ideal Senior Living Center in the independent resident apartments. The family would like to thank all of her special friends at Ideal who took such good care of her, especially Nancy and Barry. She was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church. Calling hours will be Monday, July 2, 5:00 7:00 P.M. at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 3. The Rev. Michele Fischer, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Entombment will be held at Vestal Hills Cemetery.
