Obituary of Nicholas Benson

Nicholas M. Benson, Jr. Of Apalachin Nicholas M. Benson, Jr. 78, of Apalachin, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, July 14, 2007, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis L. Benson; a daughter, Lynda and her husband, John Coccia; sons Nicholas III and his wife, Karen Benson, David Sr. and his wife, Shirley (Armes) Benson; two brothers and a sister-in-law, the Revs. Robert and Kay Benson, and James E. Benson. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, 59 Court St., Binghamton, NY 13901, or to the American Cancer Society, 31 Adams Ave., Endicott, NY 13760. Arrangements are by the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin.
