Clifford A. Kimble
Of Apalachin
Clifford A. Kimble, 84, of Apalachin, went to be with his Lord, Monday, July 16, 2007 at the Susquehanna Nursing Home, Johnson City. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen, in 1996 and by nine brothers and a sister. He is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Robert Heffner, Apalachin, Cheryl and George Ingersoll, Apalachin, Lorane and Fred Corson, North Carolina; two sons and daughters-in-law, Clifford and Barbara Kimble, Mississippi, Keith and Angela Kimble, Plattsburgh, NY; 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Alzein Kimble, William and Susan Kimble; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Glady and Bill McEaney, Jeannie and Jim Roberts; also three sisters-in-law, Anna Kimble, Margaret Kimble and Joanne Ballard; and his faithful dog, Lady.
Cliff was a retired employee of the Endicott Johnson Corporation with 45 years of service and was a faithful member of the Apalachin Alliance Church and later the Owego Gospel Chapel. He loved having coffee with his friends at the Red Apple, the New York Yankees and wrestling, but most precious of all were his Christian friends and his love of the Lord and Savior.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Loretta Perry, Pastor of the Gospel Chapel of Owego, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Those wishing may make contributions in Cliffs memory to the Gospel Chapel of Owego, 203 North Ave., Owego, NY 13827.
