Obituary of Raymond W Traver

Raymond W. Traver of Glen Aubrey Raymond W. Traver, 75, passed away February 18, 2009 after his long battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife, Irene G. Traver; his parents, John and Agnes Traver; and also his brothers and sisters, Wilmer Traver, Carl Traver, Harry Traver, Leah McFadden, Geraldine Crispell and Gladys Ward. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Cheryl Traver; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Scott Legg; four grandchildren, Brittany and Marissa Traver, Kali Pecen and Hunter Legg. Also, his sisters, Velma Gleason, Myrle Ross, Esther Stephens; and many nieces and nephews. He was a former employee of Vail-Ballou, Kirkwood, a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, and a member of the Glen Castle United Methodist Church. Funeral and interment service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott. Reverend James G. Collins, Jr., Pastor of his church, will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in the Port Crane Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
