Obituary of Katherine Demetros

Catherine (Kate) Demetros Of Vestal Catherine (Kate) Demetros, 87, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord Tuesday evening, September 18, 2007, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Helen; her brothers, Leon, Frank, Thomas and William; her sister, Dorothy Fritsch and brother-in-law, Phillip Fritsch. She is survived by her sister, Florence Demetros; her devoted friend, Phyllis Hackling, her special nephew, William A. Demetros, Jr., ; several nieces and nephews; and her sisters-in-law, Irene and Alberta Demetros. She was a retired employee of the Endicott Johnson Corporation and the Dietary Department at Binghamton University. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal. Entombment will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the charity of ones own choice.
