Clyde UNC Dillenbeck
Of Endicott
Clyde UNC Dillenbeck, 87, of Endicott, went to heaven to be with his beloved wife of 54 years, Annie, his Navigator, on Tuesday, October 16, 2007. He is survived by his devoted niece and God Daughter, Pennie Morgan; and nephew, Bill Hauptfleisch. A special thanks to his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, David and Peggy Quick for their tender care after the passing of Annie. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, Bill and Leo (Leona) Hauptfleisch; sister-in-law, Stephie Hauptfleisch and Rosie Williams. Clyde was a WWII veteran, serving with the U.S. Army. He was a life member and past commander of American Legion Post 1700 and VFW Post 1449. He was a member of the Last Mans Club #2, and drove a truck for 46 years, a job he loved. He enjoyed trains, planes and automobiles, and loved all sports.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, NY. The family will receive friends 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
