Obituary of Thomas Chubbuck

Thomas G. Chubbuck Of Endicott Thomas G. Chubbuck, 35, of Endicott, passed away unexpectedly October 18, 2007. Tom was a graduate of Vestal High School, Broome Community College and has a Bachelor of Science Degree from SUNY Brockport. He resided in Atlanta, GA. For several years, enjoying a career in travel and tourism. He returned to the Triple Cities to be close to his family where he worked for Community Options and part-time for Loews Theaters. Tom enjoyed a good time and making people laugh. Tom will be remembered and missed for his loving heart and extending himself to others and putting their needs above his own. He was also a volunteer for STAP (Southern Tier Aids Program). To continue Toms work, the family requests any donations in his memory be made to STAP, 122 Baldwin Ave., Johnson City, NY 13790. Losing you, Tom, takes away a piece of our hearts. We love you and miss you, son, brother and friend. He is survived by his loving parents, Melvin and Joan Chubbuck, Vestal; his loving brother, Mark and wife, Cathy Chubbuck; and loving sister, Christel and husband, Joel Kie and their children, Kevin and Karl Chubbuck and Heather and Christopher Kie; aunts, Margaret Bundy, Roxanne Polak; and an uncle, Jack Hill; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas and Gerda Chubbuck and Wilbur and Florence Hill; uncles, Charles Letts, Edm and Bundy, Ralph Hogdin, Joseph Polak; aunt, Elsa Letts and Neva Hogdin; cousin, Roger Woodruff; and special friend, Robert Carro. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at the Vestal United Methodist Church, 328 Main ST., Vestal. The Rev. Michael K. Willis, Pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday and 10:00 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
