Obituary of Doris J. Iannon

Doris J. Iannon Of Endicott Doris J. Iannon, 83, of Endicott, passed away Friday morning, November 2, 2007, at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; and her son, Joe Pat Iannon. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Carl and Marina Lewis, Endicott, and Gary and Vicki Iannon, Endicott; nine grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Wilma and Jim Hill, Muskogee, Oklahoma, and Effie Ball, Tulsa, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Susan Murray. The family would like to thank Dr. Ronald Harris and the staff of South Tower 5, at the Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center for their care of Doris. Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 East Main St., Endicott. Father Edward Zandy, Pastor of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Nanticoke Valley Cemetery, Union Center. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4-6 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Memphis, Tenn. or to the Lourdes Hospice, 4102 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, NY 13850.
