Obituary of Genevieve D. Winchell

2007-12Genevieve "Genny" Winchell of Apalachin Genevieve "Genny" Winchell, 81, of Apalachin, passed away on December 26, 2007 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. Genny was predeceased by her husband, Robert Winchell; a daughter, Gloria Hall; and a son, Walter Hall. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and John Riddell, Maine, N.Y., and Trudy and Everett Baldwin, LeRaysville, Pa.; a brother and sister-in-law, Bud and Lavonia Hadley, Miss.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Genny was retired from Amphenol Cadre, Endwell, and was the past part owner of the Apalachin Hotel. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at 3 p.m. from the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Rt. 434, Apalachin. Burial will be in the spring at Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive their friends on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
