Obituary of Mabel K. Howard

Mabel K. Howard of Endicott Mabel K. Howard, 100 1/2, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 7, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Howard; her parents, John R. and Edna Kimble; her brother, Sheldon Kimble; and sister, Cecil Benjamin; her sons, Clifford, Bob, and Bernard. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Grace and Allison Vincent, Endicott; her sister, Helen Grier, Waverly, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren, several great and great-great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Audrey Howard, Florida, and Shirley Howard, Endicott. She was a member of the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene and greatly enjoyed the senior functions at the church. She was a retired employee of Endicott-Johnson Corporation. She enjoyed family gatherings and will be missed by all who knew her. The family would especially like to thank the Emergency Room Staff and Nurse Dee at Lourdes Hospital for their loving care of Mabel and also a special thanks to both the Maine and Union Volunteer Emergency Squad. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene, 1381 Union Center Highway, Endicott. The Rev. Daniel Eddings, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Nanticoke Valley Cemetery in the spring. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 300 E. Main St., Endicott, Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Endicott Community Church of the Nazarene.
