Obituary of Duane Zimmer

Duane E. Zimmer Of Endicott Duane E. Zimmer, 75, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Thursday morning, January 31, 2008, at his home. He was predeceased by his first wife, Tory in 1985. He is survived by his wife, Josephine Pupillo, Endicott; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Vic Hammond, Smithboro; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Shirley Zimmer, Apalachin; grandsons, Christopher, Brett and Jarred; five stepchildren, John and Kathy Hiza, Chicago, Angie Kujawa, Endicott, Christine Hiza, Mass., Matthew and Andrea Hiza, Ariz., Annette and Larry Gleeson, Chicago. He was a retired employee with the Ozelid Corporation for 32 years and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday at 11:00 a.m. from Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Margaret Marys Church, Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the church Monday morning from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Campville Volunteer Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary.
