Obituary of Theresa L. Drake

Theresa L. Drake Of Endwell Theresa L. Drake, 96, of Endwell, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 2, 2008, at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home, Hilltop Campus, Johnson City. She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; two brothers and four sisters. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ford and Sharon Drake, Johnson City; one daughter and son-in-law, Anna Ruth and David Beers, Endwell; four grandchildren, Linda (Dennis) Simmons, Liberty, NY, Damon Beers, Endicott, Stephen Drake, Johnson City, Kevin (Denise) Beers, Rochester, NY; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Abigail Simmons, Liberty, NY; also several nieces and nephews. Theresa was a 55-year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Endicott and was very active in church activities. She served as Church Treasurer for many years. She was a retired bookkeeper. The family would like to thank the staff at the Rehab Unit and the STAR Unit at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home; also the SUN Unit at Hilltop for their dedication. A memorial service for Theresa will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 10:30 at the First Presbyterian Church of Endicott, 29 Grant Ave., Endicott. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make contributions in her memory to the Memorial Fund at the First Presbyterian Church of Endicott, 29 Grant Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
