Obituary of Andrew A. Kannenberg
Andrew A. Kannenbergof Choconut, Pa.
Andrew A. Kannenberg, 78, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton. He was born July 11, 1929 in Endicott. He was predeceased by a sister, Mildred Bogady; and a nephew, Grant Warfle. He is survived by a sister, Eva M. Warfle, LeRaysville, Pa.; nieces and nephews, Oliver Warfle, Wash., Elsie (Clayton) Lantz, LeRaysville, Pa., George (Nancy) Warfle, Warren Center, Pa., Howard Warfle, LeRaysville, Pa., Jill Reynolds, Endicott; several cousins and great-nephews; special friends, Pam Babuka and Mike Gibson; and his beloved dog, Skippy. Andrew was a lifelong farmer in the Choconut area and enjoyed sharing stories that exemplified the simpler times of days gone by and the practical knowledge gained by living those experiences.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, 765 Main St., Vestal. The Rev. Michele Fischer, Pastor of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, Endicott, will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Park Cemetery, Vestal at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
