Obituary of Margaret Q. Wierman

Margaret Q. Wiermanof Vestal Margaret Q. Wierman, 79, of Vestal, passed away on Wednesday, June 18th, 2008, at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was predeceased by her sister, Patricia Finnegan; and a brother, William Quinlan and his wife. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, William Wierman; a son, William Wierman, Apalachin; a son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Mary Wierman, Bellvue, Neb.; a daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and Brien Carroll, Russellville, Ark.; three grandchildren, Tara, Andrew and Bailey Carroll. Margaret was a long-term employee of Burt's of Endicott, was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Air Force, and was an active volunteer in the area serving at several local senior centers including Mom's House. A Memorial Mass for Margaret will be held on Monday, June 23, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 157 Clark St., Vestal, with the Reverend John P. Putano officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Family will receive their friends on Sunday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main St., Vestal.
