Obituary of Vivian June Knight

Vivian June Knight of Apalachin Vivian June Knight, 82, of Apalachin, passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2008. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, David Knight; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cathleen and John Smartt, Lorraine Knight; four granddaughters, Heather and husband, Barry Livsky, Carleen Rice, Holly and husband, Norman Whittemore, Melissa Smith; nine great-grandchildren; also survived by two sisters and two brothers, Helena Thomas, James Romeo Jr., Genevieve Romeo, and Robert Romeo. She was a member of the Apalachin United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff on Daisy Court at Ideal Nursing Center for their loving care of Vivian. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Apalachin United Methodist Church, Pennsylvania Ave., Apalachin. The Rev. Mary Jean Simonin, Pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 12 noon until service time at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Memorial Fund of the Apalachin United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, State Rte. 434, Apalachin.
