Obituary of Alice Van Driesen

Alice Van Driesen Alice Van Driesen, 76 of Vestal, New York and previously of Sturges, PA, passed away after an extended illness on May 29, 2014. She was pre-deceased by her parents; Alviron and Helen Van Driesen, sister, Mary Marion, and brother, Alviron Van Driesen, Jr. Born in Carbondale, PA, Alice is survived by her sisters Lorriane Hencheck (Al) of Loveland, OH, Elizabeth Becker of Vestal, NY and Patricia Van Driesen (Olenick) of Sturges, PA, and brother, Jerome Van Driesen of Long Island, NY. Alice is also survived by 37 nieces and nephews that were like her own to her. Alice was a devoted daughter caring for her mother and father for many years. She was also a very creative person and a fantastic artist and musician. She worked for many years as Office Manager at the General Dynamics/P&G Federal Credit Union in Eynon, PA before her retirement. Services for Alice will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Main Street, Vestal on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10AM. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, 13 Beech St, Johnson City, NY 13790.
