Obituary of Karolyn R. Meade

Apalachin: Karolyn R. Meade, 60, of Apalachin, found her rest after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 2, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ethel Furman and her daughter, Carrie. She is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; sons, Christopher and Kory; her daughter, Katie; brother and sister-in-law, Walt and Minnie DeVries; brothers-in-law, David (Carol), Ernest (Carol); sisters-in-law, Janice and Kathy; very special niece, Nicole. Karolyn was a member of the Eastern Star Round Hill 104 and St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Endicott. She enjoyed going to car shows with her Corvette and camping with her dogs. A funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 200 Jefferson Ave., Endicott, on Thursday at 11 a.m. Rev. John R. Martinichio, pastor of her church, will officiate. Burial will be on Friday in Warwick Cemetery, Warwick, NY. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The Eastern Star will have a service at 6:45p.m.
