Obituary of Teresa J. Newton

Teresa J. Newton, 55, of Apalachin, went to be with the Lord after a long illness on Saturday August 16, 2014. She was predeceased by her parents, Thurmond & Dorothy Francis; brother, Tim Francis; sister, Patsy Francis Bush. She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Dan Newton; her sons, Scott (Nikki) Newton, Chittenango, NY, Steve Newton, East Syracuse, NY; grandson, Jenson Newton, Chittenango, NY; her sister, Sue (Joe) Francis Blair; sister-in-law, Linda (Stewart) Newton Baker; brother-in-law, Jim (Bonnie) Newton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Teresa was a longtime member of the Free Methodist Church. She had a trained voice and used it to sing praises to the Lord with various worship teams. She enjoyed being a crafter and was a great mother and wife. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 E. Main St., Endicott, on Monday August 18, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday at New Beginnings Church, Rt. 5, Wampsville, NY from 5 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church, Wampsville. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Chittenango, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Teresa can be made to your local Alzheimer's Association.
