Obituary of Alan L. Hill

Alan L. Hill Endicott: Alan L. Hill, 60, of Endicott, went to be with the Lord Saturday, August 23, 2014, at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Gerald and Beverly Hill. He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mandy and John Esposito, and Heather and Aaron Brown; five grandchildren, Zachary, Alexis, Payton, David, and Ezra; four brothers, John (Cheryl) Hill, Colen (Doreen) Hill, Paul Hill, and Gerald (Tracy) Hill; sister, GeriLynn Ashley; several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews. Alan was an employee of Sanmina Corp in Owego for 32 years, a Veteran of the US Army, and a member of St. Ambrose Church, Endicott. Al was a quiet, hardworking man who enjoyed the simple things in life. When he wasn't spending time with his wife, children, or grandchildren, he could be found sitting in the garage, sipping on a Genny, or enjoying the weather on his front porch. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed. A memorial mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Ambrose Church, 203 Washington Ave., Endicott. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main St., Endicott, Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Alan's memory to the Alan Hill Benefit.
