Obituary of Lillian L. Stanko

Johnson City: Lillian Stanko, 96, of Johnson City went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 1st, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Michael A. Stanko; her mother and stepfather, Florence and Sherman Price and her sister, Marion Haulton. She is survived by her three sons, David (Ann) Stanko of Longwood, FL, Dennis (Bonnie) Stanko of Fairport, NY and Steven (Joyce) Stanko of Johnson City. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Eileen, Andrew, Melinda, Kimberly, Jack, Amanda and Patricia; 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Lillian was a stay at home Mom. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and was an avid reader. Her family was the greatest joy of her life. She was a loving person to all and will be dearly missed. The family would like to thank the entire staff at Susquehanna Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the loving care they provided Lillian the last few years of her life. You are truly very special people doing very special work. A funeral service conducted by Rev. Janice Devine of First Presbyterian Church of Endicott will be held at Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 E. Main St. Endicott on Tuesday March 17th 2015 at 1:00 pm. A short calling hour will be held from 12 to 1 before the service. Burial will be immediately afterward at Riverhurst Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian's memory can be made to the charity of one's choice.
