Obituary of Harold O. Willson
Harold Oliver Willson, 90, formerly of Endwell, NY, died on Saturday, June 13th at Good Shepherd/Fairview Home in Binghamton. He was born June 10, 1925, in Marathon, NY, to Harlan & Ingeborg Willson. Harold was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force serving during World War II and was a graduate of Harpur College. He was a charter member of Our Savior Lutheran Church and devoted much of his life to the church. Harold is survived by his three loving stepchildren, Elisabeth (Mokey) Whalen, J. Alan (Janyce) Johnson, and Jean Johnson Motherway (Joe); his daughter-in-law, Deborah Foster; and granddaughter, Erin McNamara. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jay Kokos; and several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by his sons, James and Richard Willson; sister, Doris Kokos; and brother, Walter. Also predeceasing him were Dorothy Willson, mother of his children; his second wife, Marge; and his third wife, Grace. Though he experienced much heartbreak in life, he remained a kind, gentle, and giving man. We will miss his smile and beautiful blue eyes. The family would like to thank all the staff on Cameo Court for their wonderful care and support. Friends are invited to call at Our Savior Lutheran Church on Thursday at ll AM until the funeral service at 12 Noon. Burial will-immediately follow at Riverhurst Cemetery with full military honors.
