Obituary of Seth Ryan Swindler
Seth Ryan Swindler of Conklin, born March 4, 1994, died suddenly of injuries from a tragic accident. He is survived by mother and step-father, Cindy and Darryl Marcello, Conklin; father and step-mother, Mark and Brenda Swindler, Owego; half-brother, Brandon Swindler, Owego; step-sister, Ashley Miller, Owego; the love of his life, Corinne MacDowall, Conklin; grandparents, Francis and Elizabeth Fisher, Endicott, Susan Bentley, Endicott, and Barbara Marcello, Conklin; great grandmother, Celia Ross, Maine; aunts and uncles, Wendy and Michael Shipman, Dryden, Frances Fischer and Troy Van Keuren, Candor, Amy and Kenneth Miller, Endicott, Michael Swindler, Utica, Stanley Swindler, Endicott, Michael and Lisa Marcello, Conklin, and Gerald and Michele Marcello, Johnson City; very special cousins, Dori and Mitchel Shipman, Dryden, Christopher Marcello, Conklin, and Kevin, Kacey and Katie Miller, Endicott; many great aunts, uncles and cousins; very special extended family, Randy, Sue, Christopher and Heather Brofcak, Kevin, Melissa, Marianna, Matthew, Mark and Kris Buchannan, all of Conklin; mentor and friend, Shane Woollett; and his 3 dogs, Tobey, Shelby and Suzie. While growing up in Endicott, Seth participated in many different activities in and out of the area. He attended Maine Endwell Schools where he was part of the wrestling and football programs. He was very proud to win 2 New York State Championship games with his team in his final years of high school. Seth was a lifetime member of the NRA, who loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile and be surrounded by the people that he loved. He was a fun, caring, helpful, hardworking young man who always made time for his friends and family. After graduating from high school, Seth moved to Conklin full time where he was a self-employed handyman. Funeral and interment services will be held Monday at 11am from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 300 East Main St., Endicott. The Rev. Thomas Mott, pastor of the Nanticoke United Methodist Church will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 1-4pm. Quote from Seth; "Why Wouldn't Ya"
