Obituary of Eugene R. Welch

The world has lost one of its greatest storytellers. Eugene R. Welch, Sr., 79, of Little Meadows PA passed away on September 17, 2015, after a brief illness. He is predeceased by his parents, Leon and Gertrude (Gregory)Welch; siblings, Donald, Ronald and Lillian. Gene is survived by his longtime companion, Alice Jastremsky; his children, Linda Townley, Gene and Patti Welch, Lee Welch (Beth), Dana Welch (Robin), Sandra and Todd Short; grandchildren, Mitchell Townley, Pearl Welch, Dylan and Evan Short; Alice's children, Mark and Koleen Jastremsky, Linda Bogart; grandchildren, Keith Jastremsky and Jenny Jacobs; his siblings Albert, Frances, Irene, Dorothy, Mary, Lawrence, Helen, Leland, Lucille and Eleanor. In keeping with Gene's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.
