Obituary of Marilyn Sunderland

Marilyn Jean Sunderland born in York, PA. Age 86, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. She resided in Apalachin, NY where she was a member of South Apalachin Baptist Church. Marilyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her wonderful cooking, catering and playing the piano. She loved devoting time to her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther Duane Sunderland and son, Lee David Sunderland. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Moore II (Doris); sister, Julia Hale and daughters, Lisa Larter (David), Ellen Van Gorden (Jeff) and son, Dean Sunderland (Sue). She was Nana to 12 grandchildren, Kevin (Holly), Scott (Lauren), Kara, Garrett, Gregory, Collin, Matthew, Hayley, Rachel (Jon), Daniel (Audrey), Jesse, Hannah and 2 great grandchildren, TreJohn and Charlotte. Her Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 14 at 10:30 am at South Apalachin Baptist Church.
