Obituary of Lillian J. Gallagher

Lillian Jackson Gallagher, 84 went to meet her Lord and Savior face to face, Thursday, November 12th. Lillian was an active member of the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, praising Jesus's name for all to hear. She was an organizer of games, crafts, and activities at the Vestal Seniors' Group. In her lifetime, she was an active golfer, gardener and a talented quilter. She was beloved by many and never withheld love from those who needed it. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James "Lee" Gallagher, the love of her life. She is also survived by her older brother, James "Buddy" Jackson and sister-in-law, Anne Jackson. All her children and their spouses, Mary Louise Gallagher and Mitch Swanhart, Karen Lee and Steven Belokur, and Patrick and Luann Gallagher. Lillian had seven grandchildren, Ericka Babineau, Jason Swaney, Joshua Belokur, Janelle Speca, Joseph Gallagher, Jacob Gallagher, and Katie Foster. She was blessed with eleven great grandchildren, her little angels. Even in Lillian's last days, she considered her life to be blessed by God. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vestal Center United Methodist Church, 478 West Hill Rd., Vestal. Pastor Jeff Alosa officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 2 765 Main St., Vestal.
