Obituary of Doris Romich

Doris B. Romich, age 91, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, January 10, 2016. She was born in Endicott, NY on March 12, 1924, the daughter of the late Clifford and Agnes Buckley. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard Livingston in 1993; her second husband, William Romich in 1983 and her brother, Gordon Buckley. Surviving are her loving children, Linda (Alan) Barton of Owego, NY, Howard (Suzanne) Livingston of Spring Hills, KS, Kay Faircloth of Conway, SC and Cynthia (Thomas) Edwards of Loveland OH; 13 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. In the 1940's she led an all girls' orchestra from Endicott and in the 1960's was a co-founder and music director for the Apalachin Mello-Dears Drum and Bugle Corps. She had a love of music and played the organ for various churches. Funeral Services will be held Friday at 11AM from the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 6519 St. Rt. 434, Apalachin. The Rev. Michael Pearson, Pastor of the First Baptist Church, Vestal will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Apalachin. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, 10AM until service at 11AM. -
