Obituary of Richard V. Dennis

Richard V. Dennis, 88, of Vestal, passed away Friday January 29, 2016. He was predeceased by his wife of 61 years Elizabeth, his parents Earle and Irene, brother Donald of South Carolina, and sister, Judith Harting of Florida. He is survived by his children Richard and Colleen, Mark and Pat, Sandra and Jim, Jim and Cheryl, and Michael and Paulette. 2 grandchildren Natasha and Michelle, 4 great grandchildren, Alex, Eric, Adriana, and Fia. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Ivette for being so good with him, and Charise for her love, devotion, and kindness, caring for him. He was assistant Vice President of Marine Midland Bank, and retired after 34 years. He graduated from Vestal Central High School in 1945, and attended Triple Cities College. He loved and played all sports. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family, and there will be calling hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad, 324 Myrtle St., Vestal, NY 13850.
