Obituary of Ward H. Davis

Saturday, February 20, 2016, Ward H. Davis, of Owego and Endwell, made his final journey to join his wife, Helen Davis. Also predeceased by his granddaughter, Joyce Williams. Born April 20, 1927 in Hornell, NY, he graduated from Arkport Central School and was a World War II Army Veteran. Ward was Past Governor and life member of Owego Moose. He worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for over 40 years and lived in the Owego area for over 30 years. He is survived by his brother, Richard Davis; stepchildren, Bonnie Holbrook, Jo Ann Torma and Harvey Evelin; step-grandchildren, Anne Smith and Stacy Brown; six step great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to his Good Shepherd friends and the nursing staff. At Ward's request, there will be no services.
