Obituary of Beverly H. Schubmehl

Beverly H. Schubmehl, 98, of Vestal, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Willow Point Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Schubmehl, infant son, Jack Schubmehl, grandson, Thomas Gordon, sister, Jayne Heller, and son-in-law, Robert Gordon. She is survived by her children and spouses; Jeanne Gordon, Bill (Mary) Schubmehl, Richard (Helen) Schubmehl, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Beverly was very active in her church and a member of the Vestal Fire Company #4. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a loving caregiver to her family and others. The family would like to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home, South 3, for their compassionate and loving care. Funeral services will be held at Grace Point Church, 3701 Old Vestal Rd., Vestal, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Private burial will be held in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Coleman & Daniels Funeral Home, LLC, 765 Main St. Vestal, on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Beverly can be made to, Lourdes Hospice, 169 Riverside Dr. Binghamton, NY 13905, or to a charity of one's choice.
