Obituary of Maegan Babcock

Maegan Lynelle Roske Babcock, 45, of Johnson City, NY, died October 13, 2016 from Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. She is survived by her husband, Dave Babcock, of Johnson City; her mother, Lana Roske, of Vestal; brothers Tim (Julia) Roske, of Albany and Mike (Deb) Roske, of Milford, NH; two nephews, Mitchell and Daniel Roske, also of Milford, NH. She was predeceased by her father, Paul Roske. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Jean Babcock and family, of Harpursville. Maegan graduated from Vestal High School and Broome Community College. Her interests included books, movies, music, Christmas preparations, and visiting with friends and family. She especially enjoyed animals and was an excellent dog trainer. She was a member of Vestal United Methodist Church. There will be a luncheon to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 29th, from 12 to 2 pm at the Vestal United Methodist Church. All are welcome. Burial will be at Vestal Park Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
