Obituary of Paul Adamek

Paul J Adamek, 92, of Endicott, died Tuesday January 3, 2017, at James G Johnston Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his daughter Kimberly. He is survived by his wife June and son Jeff and son-in-law, David Adowski, 2 sister-in- laws and brother-in-law Ruth Adamek, and Joyce and Ed Storm. Nephew Michael Adamek, and several other nieces and nephews. Paul was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army Air Corp, serving in the South Pacific. He was a member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church for over 50 years, a retired employee of IBM, Endicott with over 42 years of service. A member of American Legion Post #82, Endicott, and a member of Masonic Lodge 533 F&AM of Endicott, and a member of the Consistory. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Holy Nativity Lutheran Church 312-314 East Main St, Endicott. The Rev. Kenneth Wood Pastor of his Church will officiate. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Coleman and Daniels Funeral Home LLC, 300 East Main St, Endicott Friday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the Shriners Children Hospital 566 Carew St, Springfield Mass 01104.
