Obituary of Albert C Bailey

Albert C. Bailey 91, of Apalachin passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Willow Point Nursing Home. He was predeceased by his wife Marion. He is survived by his three children and their spouses, Jemma (Chuck) Kunte of Apalachin, Allyson Bailey (Michael Stachura) of Rochester, Megan (Robert) Barnhart of Owego. Grandchildren, Emily (Dan) DiRado, Louis A. Farchione III, Martin Farchione, Abigail Farchione, Mallory Farchione, Rev. Rachael (Dan) Morse, Samuel (Ashley) Barnhart, Hannah (Jonathan) Woodburn, Jonah Barnhart, several nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Coast Guard and a member and past Chief of the Apalachin Volunteer Fire Department, with 50 years of service and a past New York State Fire Instructor, an active member of the Park Terrace United Methodist Church of Apalachin, a retired employee of I.B.M. Glendale, with 35 years of service. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Park Terrace United Methodist Church, 30 Glann Road, Apalachin. The Rev. Dale Austin, pastor of his church will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday at 10:30 a.m. until service time at 11. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the memorial fund of the Park Terrace United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice .
