Obituary of Joanne B. Marshall

An Angel on Earth has joined her Heavenly Angels. Our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and friend, Joanne (Shawley, Marlin) Marshall left her earthly life to be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven. What a celebration it will be..While we are saddened beyond words, knowing she is free from pain and suffering fills our soul with everlasting love and memories of what an Angel does on earth. Predeceased by mother, Hilda (Harold) Denny; father, Robert Bowker; stepmom, Gerrie Grow; sister, Carrie Pickens; brothers, Fred Denny, and Robert Bowker. Survivors, son, Jack (Laura) Shawley; daughter, Jill (Robert Mallon) Shawley; grandchildren, Jack Shawley III, Jessica and Joanna Shawley, Daniel Phytilla, Kate-Lynn Ellis, Kristopher Ellis; great grandchildren, Jack IV, Ashlyn, Jacob, Elise, Logan, and Nevaeh; sisters, Marilyn Simon, and Marion Nalepa; brother, Gary Bowker; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was a long time employee of New York Telephone Co. in Ithaca, NY and Johnson City, NY. She was a member of Johnson City Eagles #2644, Loyal Order of the Moose, Binghamton, and American Legion Post #1700, Endicott. Services for Joanne will be held at a later date at the Crossroads of Life Church on Exchange Street, Binghamton, NY. Pastor Dann Travis will officiate. A date and time will be annouced at a later date. We have suffered a terrible loss and our lives have changed forever. May God Bless you now and forever.
